What I Do and Why It Matters
Most of my clients come see me because they just know life should be better. It HAS to be. For many people who walk through my door, their lives aren't shattered, lying breathless in the corner. These people get up every single day and get through. But somehow, somewhere, something is off. Maybe it's your relationship. Maybe it's you. Maybe you don't know what it is, but life just doesn't seem right. You're not fully happy. Not yet.
Insieme Consulting helps couples, families, and individuals make life better. How? By having lived lots of lives and done lots of things, I've developed a unique perspective. One that has allowed me to develop a one-of-a-kind strategy that mixes therapeutic techniques found in human services and combines them with the results-oriented coaching and leaderships skills derived from the professional services field. This specific meld of mojo enables me to provide a different kind of service and help where other help may have been unsuccessful.
Look. I get it. In many cases, I've actually been there myself. And in those cases that I haven't, I have a wealth of knowledge and exposure to make up for it. I'm not saying you have to have someone who has been through what you've been through. But sometimes, it helps. It helps to know someone out there gets it. Like, really gets it. Here, there is no judgement. There is no should. There is just what is. And of that which is, we together can make better.
The Fancy Stuff
Insieme Consulting is led by experienced therapist and consultant, Crystal Rice, who has worked as a therapist, at senior levels in a corporate environment, and as a coach. She is skilled in delivering practical relationship coaching and strategies which build on strengths, resolves issues, and generates long lasting emotional value. In addition to a Master of Social Work degree and licensing as a graduate social worker (LGSW), Crystal is certified in Advanced Trauma Treatment.
My approach is simple. I form deep relationships with clients, creating an atmosphere of trust, collaboration and the possibility of change. I work in the context of your life, not just in the vacuum of an office, and spend time understanding as much as I can about you so that everything I do is grounded in reality. I push hard and demand a lot, and for some people that might feel challenging. But in this way I can help to quickly convert new insights into action.
I am a life strategist who enjoys bringing solutions practices into my work. I realize that every client and situation is different, and I tailor my services to address the issues and style of the individual client, couple, and family. I am active and motivating, yet respectful of clients’ needs to feel fully understood and not to receive a one-size-fits-all intervention. My goal is to create a compassionate and supportive relationship to facilitate the changes that you wish to make.
I believe in working with people’s strengths and I will offer feedback, observations and ideas, and also address unhelpful behaviors or patterns. I am honest, compassionate and have a good sense of humor, and those that work with me find that they can reach their relationship potential more quickly with me than with other methods they have tried.
